EC-47 Crewmembers, Front and Back, Roster
Received from, Walter L. Ullman, Kent, Washington.

Walter says hes was a Pilot assigned to the 360th Tactical Electronics Warfare Squadron at Tan Son Nhut from May 1968 to May 1969. Says, I just found the site. I've wondered for years about what ever happened to the guys who were in Antique Airlines when I was there. Names have faded over the years, but they would probably be reunited with associated faces when I hear or see them. I was a young kid when I flew for the 360th - I just didn't realize how young I was. I would really like to hear from people I served with. Please add me to your mailing list.

Received from, Curtis 'Curt' G. Simonson, Rapid City SD.

Hi. My name is Curtis G. (Curt) Simonson. I was in the 6994 Det. 2 Sq. at Pleiku, RSVN from MAY 69 - MAY 70. I just received information on this site. I was the Mission Supervisor on Cap 54 that crashed at Hue Phu Bai, RSVN. and I have two photographs I would like to send you. The first is of the crew (myself included) before the crash and the second of the aircraft after the crash. I was the senior RO on that mission.

I was a good friend of Mike Conner who was KIA on Cap 53 and was really thankful to finally see a picture of his son who was born a week after Mike was killed. He was shown at the Wall with two other people. I think one was Danny.

I would really love to send you the pictures if you could use them to update the accident of Cap54. Thank you so very much for putting this web site together.

Received from, Robert 'Bob' Batson

Bob says he was assigned to Det. 2, 6994th Security Squadron at Pleiku as a 203 Vietnamese Linguist from July, 68 to Sept. 70.

This received today, Jan. 8th, 2009 from the Guestbook. (Updated My Tour Dates: May 1968 thru July 1970)?? I originally went to the 6990th at Okinawa in Jan 1968. Boone McNeill and I volunteered to go to Pleiku in May of that year (yeah, young and dumb, but, hey, our buddy Dan Eggernann was there!!!) I ended up extending twice and flew 362 missions. Crashed up at Phu Bai, but guess once out of 362 isn't bad!!! Boone was KIA on CAP 72 in Feb 1969. There is a building dedicated to his memory at NSA headquarters in VA. Great guy and a very special friend. I had a lot of good friends while there. Some of them I see on your website...Cooley, Beaudoin, and others. Anyway, this is a really great site. I would suggest other 6994th'ers visit the 6994th site also. There are many pictures there of the locations and people in Viet Nam and Thailand. Keep up the good work. Thanks for your efforts.
