"Photos at and around Tan Son Nhut (I think) 1966"

These Photos by: James C. (J.C.) Wheeler

I recently found the negatives of these photos taken in 1966,
I think at Tan Son Nhut. I think the first one is of the barracks
area, and I believe the first barracks on the left is where I was
while there in 66. The single story, third building on the left was
the Showers/Latrine and is also where the dice game was held.
I believe the second building on the right, where the table is
sitting, is where the greasy Tuna Sandwiches were availabel, made
with the little bug infested loaves of bread purchased on the local
economy by the hundreds and sold for $1.00 each of .50 for half.
Note the leasure attire of the fellow entering the barracks on left.
