Left- Guam, Anderson AFB. The main base for the B-52's that flew daily sorties over Vietnam. Right - The SAC ramp at Anderson AFB was so full of B-52's parked in steel revetments that the natives joked it would soon sink the island.

Left - Another load for a "Buff". Each B-52 could carry up to one hundred and five, 500 pound bombs in the internal bomb bays and the wing pylon racks. They made a lot of water holes, jungle craters in Vietnam! Right - This bomb dump represents only one days worth of B-52 bombs.

Left - Next was the stop at Clark AFB, The Philippines, a picturesque tropical paridise. This is Base Ops. Right - The huge ramp at Clark was full of SEA combat transport aircraft. Here are over half a dozen F-100's. Combat Sorties were initiated out of Clark into Vietnam on a daily basis.
