My grandmother, Madame Morlet from St-Mihiel, France,
is looking for the crew of a US bomber plane shot over Germany on October 14, 1943. The plane eventually crashed near St-Mihiel and she helped The navigator Lt Merle E. Woodside, born Dec. 29, 1917, the pilot 1st Lt Raymond Bye, born April 9, 1921, and their radio operator Kenneth H.Nice, born May 22, 1920 escape though her resistance network.
The USA gave her recently a medal for that deed.

Are they by any chance a member of anyone's family ?
or do you know their whereabouts ?

Sincerely yours, Sébastien Montdragon

PS. I know this site is devoted to the Vietnam War, not WWII, but decided to post this message anyhow. Excuse me.
