Ride the DC-3 (C-47) Again.

We can have the aircraft shown in the photo at Reunion 2005 and available for 30 minute rides.

This is the actual aircraft we can have at Reunion 2005.

Good Morning Vietnam! Actually (PBIA)

Updated DC-3 Cockpit of N300MF.

Morning Takeoff from PBIA to Haiti.

Enroute to Haiti (Bald Captain is SSg Richard Snook, Vietnam 360th TEWS Crew Chief Tan Son Nhut, 1968).

Passangers and Cargo to Haaiti.

Unloading the DC-3 at Cap Haitien, Haiti.

Unloading mission supplies at a grass strip at Pignon, Haiti.

Folks to get this aircraft too Reunion 2005 we need to have a firm committment of a minimum of $5,000. This amount will provide the fuel and oil costs (all we need to provied) for the round trip for the aircraft and also allow as many as 100 of our Reunion Attendees to have a 30 minute flight aboard this aircraft, (24 persons per flight), Piloted by one of our own, President of Missionary Flights International and former SSgt Richard Snook, a Crew Chief with the 360th TEWS at Tan Son Nhut in 1968.

How we raise the necessary funds is not important, only that we can raise the minimum required. To be fair to everyone, just say for example that we could raise $3,000 from 6o folks who could/would pay $50 each for a 30 Minute ride and also just supposing that we had the other $2,000 donated by some other entity as a charitable contribution to help our efforts. This would seem to indicate that there could be another 40 folks get to ride as well. This would be true but only to the extent that those other 40 also contributed $50 each for their ride. Those folks near enough to West Palm Beach, Florida who would be interested in flying to and from the reunion could also do so by flying aboard the aircraft as it flies to and from for some sort of fee to be provided in the form of a contribution to MFI for the purpose of getting the aircraft to DC.

This would of course exceed the minimum amount required to get the aircraft to the reunion and would go, no strings attached, to Missionary Flights Internationl as a contribution from The EC-47 Association. Hope this makes sense, just want to make sure that every one is treated equally accross the board. J.C.

If you can/will want to take such a ride, please send me the required $50 per person. This will be deposited in the EC-47 Bank Account and will, should we not be able to reach our goal of $5,000, be fully refundable. Should we get the required amount and have fully committed and unable to cancel the aircraft, refunds of course can only be given if we have enough funds to remain at or above the Minimum amount committed.
