EC-47 *********, Crashes **********

Data on this one is not confirmted as yet.

On Thursday, October 21st, 2011 upon returning home from a trip to Florida I had an email dated October 13th, 2011 from one of ours, a Rickey Coleman who served as one of the Aircraft Mechanics with the 362nd TEWS at Pleiku. Here is a difference, in his original contact with me he said he had served in 1967/68 and was there for the 1968 TET Offensive. In the email he said he was there in 1968/69. I am sure one of these is like me a short circuit in the memory somewhere.

But, this information and PHOTOS he sent seem like they would fit quite well into this undocumented Loss Listing. I have had this listing posted for many years with only the Date of the Loss and that it was a Non-Combat Loss I am posting these 8 Photos in hopes that someone else will see them and either confirm or deny that they belong in this loss file. ALSO, I hope that someone may also add information such as the CAUSE and provide any Names of the Crewmembers etc.. PLEASE, if you have anything that will add to this loss, send it to me jc@ec47.com and put CRASH in the Subject Line of the Email.

Here are the 8 photos as provided by Rickey Coleman, Aircraft Mechanic with the 362nd TEWS at Pleiku.

Thanks so much Rick, J.C.
