The reunion golf outing will be held on 19 May 05 starting at 1500 hrs at the Indian Spring Country Club, Silver Spring MD.  We will play a scramble, best-ball foursome. The date selected is the closest we could get to the actual reunion activities beginning on the 20th. The 1500 hrs start time allows those arriving on Thursday from out of area time to get settled in hotels etc., and find their way to the club.  Maps will be made available as needed.  Indian Spring is a well-known club in the metro area with 36 holes of beautiful golf course. We will be holding our tournament on the 18 holes known as The Valley. This is a very well-designed course with lots of hidden secrets. It does not favor any class of player. Low handicappers and long-ball hitters will have to use a lot of course management, where bump and run players just need to clear any hazard and let the ball roll. A cannon off any tee is not necessarily the right choice. I am sure you will enjoy playing this course! Check out the club’s website: www.indianspring-cc.com.

The cost for each participant is $20.  This includes 18 holes of golf and golf cart.  At present there are no plans for food or beverages, other than water.  If enough participants sign up and desire this provision, we can work with the club. The cost per participant will, of course, go up to offset the cost of adding these provisions.  We were able keep costs very low by using the General Manager’s Veterans’ Button.  He has bent about as far as he can and still show some reward for the club, as it is a privately owned facility.
