Been looking at all the photos and I am reminded of a funny story when we had Hawkeye at TSN. When the airplane arrived it was the first camouflage aircraft on the base. we were taxiing out for our first mission and the tower operator kept telling us he couldn't find us on the ramp. Finally Businger told him we were the camouflaged C-47 and his response was: "Oh, that is why I can't see you!" We all had a big laugh over that.
